This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class is a group of lively, positive, fun-loving, and inquisitive children. They come to school each day with a growth mindset, believing that they can and will learn more and behave better than the day before. And they do. They easily soak up everything I teach them from academics to interpersonal skills.
I am hoping to provide them with the meaningful, hands-on learning experiences they need and deserve.

My Project
In order for students to be successful in school, they must attend daily and stay focused. Both of these things are nearly impossible when students are sick.
With a class of thirty-four students, germs spread quickly and easily.
We will be able to disinfect the classroom with Clorox wipes and aerosol spray. The Kleenex tissues and hand sanitizer will allow ill students to blow their nose to stop the spread of germs to others. Additionally, an air purifier will keep the air in the classroom clean from bacteria, mold, and allergens. These items are crucial for my class to stay healthy and get the most out of their fifth grade year! We can't wait to be germ-free!
