KHS Boys Basketball

Help me give my students new Wilson basketballs, training cones, storage for the basketball team, storage for balls, and water bottles for the team.

My Project

Help me give my students the following items that will assist us in maintaining a successful program. A portion of our boys high school basketball team is low-income and is unable to afford the same training as other teams. Training equipment such as the cones will be used to learn dribbling techniques, using them as a guide and when to make cuts, the weighted ball will help with strength conditioning, the basketballs from previous years no longer have the grip needed and have been used for the past 3 years and we are in desperate need for more. and using the storage to put all of the jerseys and other equipment in them to maintain them and keep them in a central loaction. Upon traveling to other schools we can place the balls in a travel bag instead of holding each ball individually which will help us keep them all together and have a less likely chance of them getting taken. The water bottles are used for there safety in using there own bottle instead of passing around one bottle to the whole team. These items will take the financial stress off their famililies. It is vital to show these players that they are valued and should be given the same opportunities as other players/teams in the area. At this school, more than 50% of students are black, latino, and/or native american, and more than 50% come from low-income households.
