This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Music speaks to all languages. Here at the Leviton Dual Language School, we would like to give our students the opportunity to learn to play the piano. Unfortunately, we do not have the materials to make this happen. We are in need of 6 rollup piano keyboards that students can take home to practice. The keyboards will allow our students to receive one-on-one private piano lessons in school and further their musical skills at home. Our goal is for students to use the keyboards to accompany our music classes and our spring music concerts!
Learning to play an instrument has many benefits for children of all ages.
Playing an instrument is great for brain development, improves memory, concentration and coordination, builds confidence and stimulates creativity. We would be extremely grateful and appreciative if you would consider donating to our cause and bring the language of music home to our students.
