it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students need new headphones for their keyboard practice.
My students are an eager bunch of musicians who love to play the keyboard.
Our school is small- less than 200 students- but we have opportunities for them to learn art, dance, and music. ALL students in our school from PreK (4 yrs old) to 5th grade (10 yrs old) learn to play piano. It is one of the most rewarding experiences for the students. They LOVE playing keyboards!!
My Project
We have 25 keyboards in the music room, but the headsets we have are getting a bit "beat up" over the years. The students could use 10 pairs of headphones so they can concentrate on learning how to play rather than why can't I hear anything out of the left headset?
This project will add a valuable resource to our music room.
Students will be able to focus on things like "what finger do I start with to play "Ode to Joy", rather than "Why can't I hear any music in these headphones?" The headphones will also give future students a better environment for music learning.
