I recently left the financial sector to begin a music program at P.S. 63 in the East Village of New York. The school is a Title 1 school- 65% of the students qualify for free lunch. This is my 5th year at the school and we have progressed from children who had no music at all to a point where all students learn keyboard,how to read music, sing songs and how to be critical listeners.
