My Students

My students have a thirst for learning in science and math! They come from diverse backgrounds, are English language learners, and most come from low-income households. But this doesn't hold them back! Coming to school and learning is something they look forward to every day.

We are a rural Title I school.

We work hard every day to bring learning to life through hands-on activities. Our school budget is stretched so far as it is, so a little help goes a long way.

My Project

We are fortunate to have received a class set of iPads from my district's technology department. We have used them for just about every aspect of the day, from whole group instruction, independent practice, projects, and small groups. However, we are limited based on the fact that when we use certain apps or websites, the digital keyboard takes up most of the screen, making it hard to see what the students are typing.

These Bluetooth keyboards would open up our possibilities.

Being able to use the whole screen would make it easier to complete classwork and projects. The students' keyboarding skills will also improve with continuous use.
