My students need ink for their printer, envelopes for student created math games, Polaroids for taking pictures with their masterpieces and wipes to help keep their math lives clean, organized and colorful.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students

This school is a middle city school with students from many different economic and cultural backgrounds.
My students are asked to provide supplies which might be financially hard for them to get. Our school is a Title I school, and every donation goes a long way. Our students are driven to always do their best, but they struggle. They need financial and emotional support from their community to help them meet their true potential.
My Project
This is a "time for supplies" project. We have gotten through an entire semester, and it's now flu and cold season. We are in desperate need of things to keep the germs at bay like hand sanitizer, wipes and Kleenex. Everyone knows this is the worst time of year to get sick, and---oh, man!---we are all getting sick!
We are also getting into project season for math.
My students will be creating their own worksheets, review boards and games to help them get ready for their state testing. They need things like colored markers and envelopes to help their presentations really feel special. OF course we need to have evidence of their accomplishments, and that is where the Polaroids come in. We have so much fun posting our projects in miniature form for all to see.
Lastly we need printer ink, pencils and highlights to make it though the year. We use all of these daily, and I like to be able to supply fresh pencils and highlighters for their testing to make sure everything is as perfect as it could possibly be.
