This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a diverse population of students ranging from honors, special education, and English language learners who come from many different cultural backgrounds and educational needs. We are a Title I school which means that students come from many different social and economic circumstances. I teach seventh grade to three different mathematics classes every year with thirty students. My students are located mostly in the Elmhurst and Corona area of Queens which has been hit very hard by this pandemic.

Many students are forgetting to charge their iPad at night or they need a charger half way through the day and they forgot theirs at home. These chargers will help my students always to have a charged device daily. Almost all the work we do is online so having a charged device is key!
