This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year I try to make sure that my students learn everything possible. We work on all subjects but one that is hard to learn or keep updated on is the news. Students don't like watching television news channels but what is going on in the world is important to learn.

By providing these Scholastic Magazines I am using leveled learning for my students and giving them a way to keep up with the world by reading about it.

These magazines help provide real-world stories at a level they can understand. It also gives other material for students to learn as well. I love having the online and print versions because of the ability to show videos or have extra worksheets.

I have been using these magazines for at least ten years. The students like the stories and remain interested so they are great to have.
