Help me give my students with disabilities a chance to learn about the climate and about the environment. These texts will make learning relevant to my students.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The books in this project will go in my classroom library for students to read. These books I receive will also be reread throughout the year. These will be a perfect addition for Earth Day!
I absolutely love teaching students about climate and the environment through books and stories.
I teach students with various disabilities.
Some of my students are autistic, attention deficit, and learning disabled. My students are presented with many socioeconomic challenges daily. Although they are faced with these issues, they can learn and remain focused when learning is relevant to them. My school is located in Hinesville, Ga.
Connect it to their lives and what they already know.
These texts will help to aid in instruction. The students have heard about climate and encv If I receive these texts, it will enhance instruction and help expose my students to everyday life.
