Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are in a high poverty area and funds are not allocated to our students in a timely manner. These resources will be used to be more effective in the classroom and the students will have daily access to these electronic devices.

Our students will use these tablets for all areas of research and problem solving.

They will also be able to do adding subtracting, and matching. Our students will use these resources to read online stories that are age appropriate and watch online current events. We also will be able to have online data of daily progress of where the student needs more help or where he/she is advanced. We will also use them for science/social studies as we can take them outside of the building to get information about things that are in our community and surroundings. This will make our students become more able to focus on the task at hand because they can work independently with instructions. Do you remember your first cellphone or electronic device? You played with it all day until you learned how to use it properly. It will advance our students to the technology era and it will be used for future students.

My Project

Technology is an amplifier that makes students become better and more empowered with strategies. Technology gives the students help with their special needs. They will have the ability to edit and revise daily projects. This project will give students a glimpse of a bigger world. Technology gives power to the students to have an experience that brings discovery excitement and even fun in the classroom

Using technology and finding information with electronics is "cool".

Technology is one of the fastest growing industry and we would just like to keep our students with technology to be more efficient in the classroom and in their community.
