My students need Chromebooks to keep up with the latest technology in the classroom.

My Students

Reading is our main focus in my classroom. My whole morning is spent with students actively engaged in guided reading groups and literacy stations. My afternoon is spent with students who need extra support to be successful in their classroom.

I am a special education teacher with students with varying disabilities.

I have students with learning disabilities, mild cognitive disabilities, autism, emotional disabilities, and hearing impaired students. They are all eager to learn, and they enjoy activities that go beyond paper and pencil at their desks. They need extra support to help them better understand what they are learning in their classrooms.

My Project

Chromebooks will give my students the same experience and resources as their peers. My students need extra practice and experience working on the type of questions they will see on state testing. The extra practice will help ease their anxiety about the big test. My students are all eager to learn, and it is just a matter of figuring out how to show them their strengths and abilities. Having the extra practice on the Chromebooks will help them gain the self-confidence they need to succeed. There are many resources available to us with the use of a Chromebooks. The students love digging into technology!
