My Students

My students are an amazing collection of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors that take American History, Government and Dual Credit Government, Psychology, and Sociology. Though we may be in a rural setting, their interests vary greatly! They are involved in extra-curricular activities and sports, they are readers, they are gamers, they are actors and actresses, they are part-time workers after school and on weekends.

My Project

Professional Development is always something we strive for in education and with today's environment we have been virtual way more than normal and so an updated laptop will help me stay up to date with and learn in platforms that I need to as I continue to care and educate my students. A new updated laptop would allow me to attend virtual conferences and webinars so that I am more prepared for the students and virtual learning. Sometimes lately we seem to be learning under fire and trying to stay ahead of what we are using in the "classrooms". I want to be on top of my game everyday and I feel this will help me accomplish that!
