My Students
Many students in my classroom will be walking into middle school without having been in a physical classroom for almost 2 years! I know they are eager to read, write, and grow an in-person classroom community once again and I cannot wait to meet them with open arms.
The students at my school are a diverse set of learners who are curious, engaged, empathetic, and creative!
They bring a joy for reading and writing that is contagious; all of the resources here will build upon their natural love for learning to support their growth and passion as they reenter the classroom!
My Project
My students have come back into the classroom hungry to read! They are finishing books at an astonishing pace and it is incredible to witness. That said, many of them love graphic novels and neither my classroom library nor the school library can keep up with the high demand! It is such a wonderful problem to have, but I have many students who are eager to read these titles and frustrated because they are currently waiting for them to become available. I would love to get a few more copies of these high interest books so that we can capitalize on students' love of reading!
