This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have been making a ton of progress this year. As we have been exploring proportional relationships and the coordinate plane as part of the middle school math curriculum, we have also been taking out time to build up basic skills--improving fluency with multiplication and division facts, identifying equivalent fractions, and finding common factors. But as we have been working, students have been using up supplies, eating all the snacks, and finishing the books (especially Dogman). To make it through the rest of the year, I'm hoping to restock on essentials so that my students can continue to strive.
