Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is my belief that all students, no matter their socioeconomic status, must have access to current educational resources that provide them with skills to succeed in the world. Our school is a Title I school, which means we are serving a population of low-income students who are at high risk for academic failure. My goal is to provide each student with a strong foundation in Math in hopes that they will defy the odds that have been set before them. My students are in desperate need of general supplies like paper, tape, and storage containers, as well as other basic supplies, to keep our supplies in our classes.
