My Students
In the community where I teach my students can be easily motivated, very creative, and hard workers. When asked to complete work or explain work, they always surprise me with their very interesting answers. Their neighborhood is a tough neighborhood and they face many challenges on a daily basis.
For the past two years our school was given the state score's rating which was Improvement Required (a F), but last school year we finished the year with a "B" rating and we are no longer facing closure.
I will be moving with my class this year and because they accomplished so much last year, i want to keep the classroom stocked with supplies and rewards to keep them motivated.
Like last year, during the school day my students know it is time to rise to their academic goals, support and encourage their peers, and have fun at being better than yesterday. I believe this is what helped us to reach our goals. Although it is quite tricky to get them to do this daily, most of my students adapt to it and I stick to this motto from August to May.
My Project
Your kind donation will allow my students to receive incentives and rewards for their hard work and excellent behavior.My students are little fourth grade sponges soaking up all the knowledge they can, and they like to do it in a fun and creative way. The candy will be used to reward my students for things such as following directions, being on task, excelling on math objective . The ink will allow me to print materials for my students. The rest of the supplies will be used in the classroom. The students enjoy earning incentives and work hard to earn them. This will motivate my students to do their best.
