My Students

Sixth graders are full of energy and can't wait to go outside for Physical Education! The fields on our campus are spread apart pretty far, and it is difficult to know where our classrooms are going for PE.

We have 10 sixth grade classrooms outside at once that we need to keep safe!

We have campus supervisors at our site who use 2-way radios to communicate to the office, but they don't accompany us to PE, so teachers have no way to be contacted. As our community grows larger and larger, and our budget remains the same, we find ourselves unable to make this situation safer.

My Project

By supporting our project, our students will be able to have a better PE experience on fields that are far from the classrooms.

Having a means of communication with the office, or the nurse, or even each other will allow teachers and students a greater feeling of safety.

This will allow us to provide a better learning atmosphere for our students. It will allow our office to always be able to contact us.

Somehow just knowing that we have a means of contact, even though we are on the far side of the campus, will bring us peace of mind.
