Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 3 sections of graduating eighth-graders and two sections of 7th graders. Middle schoolers are full of life and energy and are eager to learn more about the world around them. As their science teacher, I hope to open their eyes to the passion and fun of science through my class! At this age, I am starting to build in them a foundation for science that will carry them through high school and beyond. Help me achieve my goals of opening doors for my students.
My Project
With the ongoing pandemic, my students will still go into school for some part of the week. Therefore it is extremely important that they are able to safely learn in my classroom. I am asking for your help in ensuring the safety of my students, their families as well as the health of the larger school community. Hand sanitizer will be essential to making sure the classroom and materials are free of pathogens. I would also like to install an air purifier that would purify the air of any virus particles to prevent transmission.
My students and their families health is of utmost concern and I appreciate your help in facilitating a safe learning environment for them.
