My Project
Dear Donors,
I want to share how proud I am to be a teacher of such a resilient group of young boys and girls in my classroom.
These are newcomer students who face challenges in school and outside of school day by day. They are strong and most of the time empowered by an adult at school that shows care for them. I am one of those adults who will go above and beyond for the well-being of my students.
Ever since I started receiving donations from Donors Choose and showing my students what we have been gifted and will use as a class, I have seen immense progress in the attendance of my students. The snacks I listed on my project will continue that progress until my students understand the huge importance of coming to school and the values we offer them. My students show me every day how much they deserve a small snack for coming to school on time modeling what a student in my class should be doing every day. If you are able to help me continue my goal of keeping my students in class, I would be very blessed with your help and my students as well. Thank you very much!
