Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting two new Chromebooks for my classroom to serve as backup devices for students whose own Chromebooks are temporarily unavailable. These devices will ensure that no student falls behind due to unforeseen technical issues. With these Chromebooks, students will have the opportunity to continue their education seamlessly, whether it’s working on projects, accessing online resources, or completing assignments.
My Students:
My students are resilient and eager learners who thrive when given the tools they need to succeed. They come from diverse backgrounds and rely heavily on technology to complete assignments, conduct research, and collaborate with peers. When technology fails them, their progress can grind to a halt.
The Impact:
By having these Chromebooks readily available, we can eliminate downtime and keep students engaged in learning. This small addition will make a big difference in providing equity and access to all students, regardless of the challenges they face outside the classroom.
