Keeping Remote Learners in the Know With Current Events

My Students

The students in my program are thriving to be loved and cared for, they want to be accepted and are learning who they are and what they want to be. Every day I learn how to individually teach them and learn what their needs are. Our 5 - 8 special education classroom strives to break down the behaviors and rise to our highest caring environment.

My Project

The materials in this project will help to keep our students learning while in school or learning remotely.

This project will help the kids have a smooth transition in or out of the building and keep them up to date on current events.

TIME Edge offers current content that students are excited to read—delivered on a platform that prepares them for learning beyond the classroom. All content is written for middle school grade levels but can be tailored to individual learners. Teachers can assign text at different Lexile® ranges suited for grades 6-8 to accommodate below-grade-level readers. Spanish translation and audio also are available for ELL and auditory learners.
