My students need continued access to the computers we already have in our classroom. We need a wireless router, headphone replacements, and a new mouse for each computer.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
It is one thing be in classroom with no computers. It is another to be in a classroom with 3 computers that are seldom on because one component or another is not working. Well I have 3 desktops in my room and 2 laptops. On any given day 0-2 are working at the same time.
This is the age of technology.
Some of my 24 students have access to computers at home but the majority do not. We are fortunate to be in a school that once had a budget for technology but, as with all technology, what we have is starting to run down. The computers are sitting there in the corner of my student's eyes. I hear the same question at least 24 times a day, "when can I go on the computer?".
My Project
These few external components that I am asking for, will allow me to set up my three desktops and two laptops for daily student use. Students will be able to go on 5 at a time at least 2-3 times a week. The wireless router will allow my students on the laptops to access the online reading program that my school has purchased. I could even offer access to parents who do not have Internet access at home.
