My Project
As a school counselor, I get to work with every student in the school. Very often I will have a student in my office that is having a difficult moment, or just an emotional moment that we work through together. Once a student is calm and ready they can rejoin their class and truly focus on their work. Having something to focus on while we work through difficult emotions makes the process a lot easier so they can get back to their schoolwork quicker!
Being able to build and create allows us to have something to focus on while we work through the moment.
These tools will be so helpful for the students I work with. The Magna-Tiles and sand tray with figurines will provide opportunities for students to work through their tough moment so they can return successfully to class and continue learning.
