Keeping Our Fish Happy and Clean!

My Project

A classroom pet makes a huge difference in the lives of children. For those who don't have a pet at home, it teaches them how to care for one and become responsible pet owners. My students love the fish in our classroom but unfortunately, our fish tank is getting moldy and rusty. We recently received a new 37-gallon fish tank but in order to use it, we will need a filter that can clean 37 gallons.

Our fish friends are in dire need of a clean home.

My students are in charge of taking care of the fish. They feed them and even help to clean out the filter and tank. They love the responsibility and they love watching the fish swim around. The fish add a calming feeling to our classroom and makes our classroom feel homey as well.
