This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is in an old building and my classroom does not have air conditioning. We are on the second floor, with 1.5 walls of windows that get sunlight all day. No matter the season, our classroom is always hot.

Fans, lamps, a fridge and cleaning supplies will help keep this middle school classroom cool and clean.

Students also need locks to keep their belongings safe in lockers, as well as additional supplies of tissues that we are always running out of in school. These items will help with the remainder of this year and years beyond.
