My students need this Learniture 12-Outlet Laptop/Tablet charging Cart to charge and secure their Chromebooks. My class was fortunate to receive Chromebooks from DonorsChoose, but now we are in need of a cart.

My Students

I am a teacher in an inner-city school in Worcester, Massachusetts. Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Our school is also one of the most ethnically diverse schools in the city where students speak a multitude of languages. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are diverse in their academics.

Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend, and our school also runs a food pantry for our families.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school so they can be successful and because they want to learn all they can.

My Project

With a limited amount of wall outlets in my room, we are not able to charge all of our Chromebooks at the same time. This has been a huge challenge in our classroom.

Having a Learniture 12-Outlet Laptop/Tablet Charging Cart will enable all Chromebooks to be charged and ready for learning on a daily basis.

Having a dedicated place for them will also teach them responsibility of organization as well as keeping them charged and safe.

The charging cart will also keep them in the best working condition and useful for many years of student learning. Please consider helping my students to secure their Chromebooks.
