This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our art classroom is a vibrant, hands-on space where students explore their creativity, take risks, and express themselves through a wide range of materials. But with all that creativity comes a big mess—and we need your help to keep our space clean, safe, and functional for everyone.

Art is messy by nature, and while we celebrate that, a clean workspace is crucial—especially when students share materials daily.

Many of my students already take pride in cleaning up after themselves, and these wipes, brushes, sponges and other supplies will support that responsibility while ensuring our room stays sanitary, especially during cold and flu season.

With proper cleaning tools, we can preserve supplies longer, reduce waste, and keep our room running smoothly for all classes. For students with sensitivities or allergies, a clean environment also makes participation more accessible and comfortable. These items will help us clean up safely and efficiently after painting, sculpting, and other hands-on projects.

With your support, my students will continue to grow as artists in a clean, safe, and inspiring environment. These supplies may not be glamorous, but they are absolutely essential to the creative process.
