Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items in this project may seem odd, but they are a great way to keep 20 plus students organized! I have ordered a 4-drawer and a 2- drawer file cabinets to allow students to keep their work organized during the school year.

This year we will be creating our own portfolios that will let us show our families all the things we have learned, and will be storing them in these cabinets.

I will be using the bottom two drawers of the 4 drawer and the two drawer of the other cabinet to provide students a safe place to store their work without it being damage.

My students come from low-socio-economic homes. Keeping a record of their progress and being able to share it with their families is a wonderful and exciting way to document their progress. Most of my student are also English Language Learners and benefit from visual representation of their work.
