This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an educator, I know the importance of how good nutrition affects the academic development of my students. Many of my students arrive to school late. Some of my students missed the opportunity to have breakfast at school and did not eat breakfast at home. They are unable to focus in our morning routine because they are hungry.
Having a mini fridge in my class will allow me to store perishable items for breakfast alternatives, snacks, cool water, and beverages.
With your enormous contribution, my students will be able to eat healthy snacks that will allow them to focus during our morning routine.
The pencils will come very handy since it is the most basic supply my students need. They will enjoy having neon pencils to express their ideas in writing and math.
