it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my class are bright, scholars who are eager to learn and try their personal best every day. They are a very diverse group of students who encourage, inspire, and celebrate each other daily. Our school is a place where my students feel a sense of security and consistency. In this safe learning environment, they can take learning risks to successfully achieve their academic goals. The students not only set academic goals, but they also learn how to be safe, responsible and respectful citizens of the classroom and school community.
STEAM will encourage our students to think more broadly about real-world problems.
Students will have ample space for organizing math manipulatives and legos for engineering. We will be able to store playdoh, coins, connecting cubes, toothpicks, index cards, and other STEAM materials for structured Science and Math times. Our hope is to use the caddies to store materials that will remove idea inhibition, help drive innovation, teach the power of observation and hone spatial awareness and mathematical concepts. One of our focuses in the classroom this year is STEAM, which is an abbreviation for Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The Chairback Buddy Pocket Chart is an essential tool for organizing our student STEAM supplies with ease.
