Help me give my students individual supplies during COVID-19, so there will be no cross-contamination. With school back, we are striving to keep kids as safe as possible.
This will be my most unique year of teaching, probably ever. Also, the most challenging. With social distancing requirements, we will need to provide individual materials for students. I am hoping to put together boxes of materials for each individual student to use.
I work as a special education teacher who teaches students in kindergarten through second grade.
Their disabilities and needs are all different. While some students need just academic support, others need all day support in all aspects of school. I also run reading, writing, and math groups throughout the day.
My Project
This is a scary time to go back to school. This project is designed to supply students with individual material bins so that they do not have to share during COVID-19.
Each student will have a bin with the materials that they will need each day, including (but not limited to) pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, and glue.
They will also have individual fidgets in their boxes. General classroom supplies might also be included in this project but will not be shared amongst students. They will be used for instruction. Please help us keep kids safe at school.
