My Project
Our school is an inner-city, Title I, K-6th, public school with very limited resources. I am currently serving as the social worker and music therapist. Our scholars experience significant challenges within their family systems, academic experiences, and health and wellness. One of our biggest needs our families experience is rooted in financial insecurity.
As we enter the colder months, many of our scholars are not equipped with the clothing resources to keep them warm and safe.
With your donation, we will be able to provide additional clothing resources and support for our scholars.
Additionally, the sweatpants will provide not only warm and safe pant options for the winter, but also backup options for scholars who may have accidents or clothes not appropriate for school. Meeting these needs for our scholars will not only keep them safe, but also allow them the opportunity to feel comfortable and confident in what they are wearing so that they are prepared and ready to learn!
