This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In a bustling classroom environment, a refrigerator serves as an indispensable tool for my students in numerous practical ways. Beyond its traditional use for storing perishable snacks and beverages that students might bring from home, a refrigerator plays a crucial role in fostering a healthy and conducive learning atmosphere. It allows me to provide nutritious snacks or refreshments to students who may arrive at school without a proper breakfast or lunch, ensuring they have the energy to concentrate and participate fully in class activities.
Moreover, a refrigerator encourages positive classroom dynamics by promoting a sharing culture among students and teaching them the values of responsibility and community care through tasks like maintaining cleanliness and organizing shared resources.
Ultimately, having a refrigerator in the classroom not only supports the students' physical well-being but also enhances their overall learning experience by creating a supportive and nurturing environment. We are also asking for a Swiffer mop and cloths to keep our room clean after eating healthy snacks!
