This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My class consists of 21, eager-to-learn third graders. My students are all unique in their learning styles and abilities, but each one is special to me. My students are always up for a challenge and try very hard to do their best. Our school is located in the Black Belt area, and it has been considered a Title I-funded school. One hundred percent of the students at our school receive free lunch.
My students are full of energy and excited about learning.
My students have stepped up to the challenge of distance learning. They are taking things in stride and trying their best regardless of the obstacles they encounter.
My Project
Fun and engaging classrooms are often not clean! We love the energy and creativity of our room. A lot of times, we have so much mess at the end of the day.
A great lesson to teach students is responsibility.
Cleaning up after making a mess is important. Students love to help keep our learning environment clean! We are asking for different brooms and dustpans. These brooms will be used to sweep up the floor. We are also asking for a Swiffer mop and refill. The students will rotate jobs each week so they can all help keep our classroom tidy! Thank you for your support!
