This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarteners love to eat! And what better way to encourage learning than through math and everyday life skills! We will use the refrigerator to store ingredients for preparing our treats. We follow recipes using our reading and math skills. We prepare foods to coincide with our letters of the week (i.e. waffles for Ww). We also prepare special holiday treats from time-to-time. These children love our cooking days and look forward to eating the fruits of their labor!
