My students are eager to learn. They thrive off of critical thinking while working collaboratively with their peers.
I am enthusiastic to work with my students because we all challenge one another's thinking while enjoying the learning that takes place.
We are in a low income urban neighborhood in Detroit, MI, and these children require any items that will make their learning environment feasible for focusing in the classroom.
The students that I teach do their best to complete tasks that are required by the district’s standards.
My Project
Help my students keep cool with an air conditioner, and have fresh clean air while learning. It gets very hot in our classroom, which makes it difficult to concentrate and focus on learning. Since we are in the midst of a pandemic, those that suffer with allergies and respiratory problems will need to breathe easily and not be uncomfortable while wearing a mask for 7 hours.
The students deserve the best education possible, but when you are hot it can interfere with learning.
Heat is mentally and physically draining especially when you add a mask covering your mouth and nose. Health is wealth.
