My students need a subscription of Time for Kids to help keep them updated with events happening across the world along with 2 beanbag chairs and a ball chair for some flexible seating options!
As a teacher in a low income/high poverty area, my students are faced with many challenges on a daily basis. Since school is often looked at as a place of security and a breath of fresh air, I want to make school the best experience possible for them. My students are full of energy and are inspired to learn as much as they can. Over the year, I look to help them grow their knowledge and to continue to inspire them that anything is possible regardless of their surroundings.
My Project
This project will help my students stay up to date on current events in the world in a fun and interacting way. By filling my classroom with a Time for Kids subscription, students will be able to address events on their levels! Students will also be able to get comfortable while engaging with the subscription thanks to flexible seating options!
The flexible seating options will also be available for students struggling to focus in a typical classroom seating.
Students will even be able to use the bean bags and chairs to get comfortable when reading a great book!
