This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During this last school year, I started providing personal hygiene products to students. I had a small basket in my room that included items such as deodorant, feminine hygiene, and oral hygiene products. Throughout the year, I had many students take advantage of the products available!
Planning for this upcoming school year, a goal of mine is to expand the personal hygiene products I have available to students who may need something throughout the day.
Having access to personal hygiene products can allow students to feel more comfortable and confident while in class.
