Help me give my students the best experience in Pre-K while maintaining a germ free, safe environment. We have to have individual items for every student, from their cubby down to the pencils and crayons they use.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Although we have many new rules and regulations to start our new year, our classroom is usually the first exposure students in our area have had to school. Our community school is very diverse where many backgrounds and languages are represented. For most of our students, English is not the primary language. As a result, my students face challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the challenges they face on an everyday basis, I am always looking to provide my students with meaningful learning experiences.
My Project
Since attendance is an important part of success, it is important my students come to school every day! It is difficult for a student to catch up in a class when they are out for a day.The hand sanitizer will allow us to add an extra layer of protection after sneezing and coughing. Another important part to a germ free room is having a clean work space. My students take great pride in keeping our classroom clean! Every Friday, we wipe down our tables in our classroom to prepare for the following week. Since we currently use our essential cleaning supplies to fight off germs, we are running low. Everything has to stay individualized so each student needs their own bins, sensory items, crayons, expo markers, etc.
It is important our classroom stay nice and healthy!
Even though these are basic cleaning supplies, these essential supplies will help keep our room germ free so we an continue to learn and achieve our dreams!
