This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a mental health professional, and there is no budget for our particular role. I work with students who struggle with getting along with others, keeping their hands to themselves, and self-regulation due to different diagnoses.

I work with families that have been in different traumatic situations, and children who attend our school have had little to no mental health services.

I would like to be able to support the children and our families in the community with resources that will be beneficial for them.
