Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a wonderful group of bright, motivated learners who take pride in their classroom and education. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives, energy, and creativity to our learning environment. What makes them special is their eagerness to take ownership of their space, ensuring it is welcoming, organized, and safe for everyone.
This project aims to provide essential cleaning supplies, including Lysol wipes, disinfectant spray, cleaning sponges, cloths, gloves, and tape, to help us maintain a clean and disinfected classroom.
These items will make a significant difference in keeping our learning environment healthy, especially during cold and flu season. A clean space reduces distractions and ensures students can focus on learning without concerns about illness. By providing these supplies, I hope to teach my students important life skills like responsibility, teamwork, and the value of maintaining a shared space. Cleaning together fosters a sense of community and pride in our classroom, reinforcing the idea that everyone contributes to a positive learning environment.
My goal is to create a space where students feel comfortable and cared for, knowing their health and well-being are a priority. These resources will help us achieve that, ensuring our classroom remains a vibrant place for growth and learning.
