My Project

Many students in my classroom experience seasonal allergies, asthma, and other respiratory sensitivities that can affect their comfort, concentration, and attendance. With increased concerns about airborne illnesses and pollution, an air filter is a cost-effective solution to help safeguard our students’ well-being. According to the EPA, improved indoor air quality can enhance cognitive performance and reduce illness-related absences.

My goal is to improve indoor air quality to support student health, reduce allergy and asthma triggers, and create a cleaner, safer learning environment.

The air purifier covers over 2,000 sq. ft and will run during school hours. It will be maintained regularly with filter changes. Benefits include cleaner air, reduced allergens, and a healthier environment conducive to learning.
