My Project

Thanks to some amazing donors here, I have been able to provide an amazing Maker Space for my students. We have two Cricuts, a 3-D printer, and even a Glowforge. But having all these amazing tools comes with a price: an amazing mess.

My students have been fully immersed in creating everything from sublimated mugs to phone cases to wooden puzzles.

But wow, does all of that make a huge mess! Having a small shop vac would be super helpful for getting the dust from the Glowforge. The Roomba emptying station would be the perfect addition to our classroom Roomba because we have to keep emptying it every few minutes so this way it would empty itself. And having the rotary tool would be a great addition to the 3-D printing we do since many of the prints require sanding (which also adds to the mess).

Having tools like these will help ease the frustration we have and keep things tidy so that my students can continue to experiment and create: and hopefully find something they are good at and can pursue once they graduate.
