This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our culinary program is loved by the students. They learn how to make healthy soups, cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies, and other tasty treats that they can enjoy. With all this cooking, they need certain supplies. They need hairnets to keep their hair out of the food and from flying around the kitchen. Five periods a day with at least twenty students, we go through a lot of hairnets. We need to keep our hands clean and our dishes washed, so we need as much of the soap as we can get. There is only so much the district gives us. We have to come up with other means for the supplies we need to keep our students cooking!

We need hairnets, hand soap, and dish soap for the culinary program!
