My Students
I teach at an amazing school full of diversity. We have over seven hundred students and over one hundred are English as a second language students. One hundred are Advanced Program students, along with a robust regular education program and special needs program. We call ourselves "The Greatest School on Earth," and we truly are! I teach our Digital Learning Lab, where students not only learn computer skills, but they participate in project-based learning. I get to teach all of our amazing students, either in a group setting, small groups, or individually. I am blessed to teach all of our students!
I want all of the students that enter my room to have amazing experiences because they are amazing and exceptional students!
My Project
I was fortunate enough to receive nine Sphero BOLT robots through DonorsChoose last year. My students have LOVED coding and programming them to do fun activities like roll in circles, move in a square, make sounds and even speak! We even formed a club and created website with tutorials and sample programs. But, when we are finished with them, we have no secure place for them. Sitting on the shelf, they can easily be knocked off and roll away.
Having a hard shell case will keep our Sphero BOLT robots safe and secure!
I'd like to get one case for each of our robots. With these, students won't have to worry about the possibility of damaging one if it falls from the shelf.
