My Students

I work with learning support students at two different schools. One is a Title I school where more than one third of students come from low-income households.

My students love to learn, laugh, and have fun.

I work with a variety of ages and students.

My Project

Our classroom sensory toys are starting to wear out. We are in need of new sensory toys as our old ones are used. We are hoping to replace our stretchy frogs with new frogs to fling and have fun with. My students also love squishy items as their favorites are slowly getting worn.

We are currently without a classroom pencil sharpener as ours unexpectedly broke recently.

We are hoping to get a new one to replace our old one. My students named our old sharpener "Staples" and will be very glad to have a new one. Every time they sharpen their pencils they would tell me they are feeding Staples.

We are also in need of timers to help with our stations. A visual timer would help my students understand how much time they have to complete their jobs.
