My Students

My students come to school eager to find out what fun activities are planned for physical education. As a Magnet school, we have students attending from all over Hillsborough County. Some spend long periods on the bus just to get to us.

The excitement they show as the run to the court makes me feel honored to be their teacher.

My students have been exposed to many different activities, some that they have never tried, throughout this year. Although we value our equipment and take care of it daily, some wear out from use and simply needs replacing. Please help my students continue to enjoy their physical education class and becoming healthy, physically active adults.

My Project

As we head back to school many teachers are all worried about the same problem we are all facing. How in the world are we going to keep students socially distanced?

This project will give me additional materials that will serve as visual reminders about how they can keep themselves safe.

The cones and spots will act as markers to keep students safely seperated during their time outside. I will have stations set up around the court and use the spots to help my students understand the concepts of social distancing.

The slotted cones will be used to create obstacle courses in our field, again allowing me to keep my students seperated while they get their physical education.
