This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year my elementary visual arts students create amazing artwork. Having access to a range of bright, pastel and neutral colors gives us the opportunity to get creative and make our artwork pop. Solid black is always a classic, professional way to mount and display our work. Sharpie markers are used daily for outlining our work and providing a base for collages, watercolors, and drawings. The paper trays will be used to distribute paper as well as for the exploration of dough and kinetic sand for our 12/1 classes.
Collage is one of the mediums we enjoy because it brings so many of the elements of art together while incorporating fine motor skills and assemblage.
With your help, we can continue to produce artwork we can take pride in and share with our school community.
