Keep Things in Balance With Algebra

Help me give my students algebra tiles, dry erase markers and dry erase graphing mats, to help them catch up with their classmates and catch up even more because of covid.

My Students

My students are kids with special needs, that have trouble with math. I am teaching a small class to try to help them access the core and close the gap that they have with their grade level peers. Add in missed instruction and time in school due to covid my students are really struggling with Algebra that they are building on from earlier missed grades.

My Project

By donating to our project you will help my students engage hands-on with the math that we are learning. This will give each student a set of manipulatives to have hands-on learning of the dreaded topic of "Algebra." And make solving equations something that they can see and touch.

Equations won't be as scary when I can show them with the teacher's set of tiles and they can use the same tiles to see how to do the math.

This will allow for a more concrete way to see this tough concept.
